I Recently downloaded the JGB 3/18/78 show from that site, very good sound, and with the Mission in the rain that was in nugs.net JGB sampler.

On another note...and on the same page...

I highly recommend the two Reconstruction shows (03-08-79, 07-08-79).

www.bluegrassbox.com is good for the more bluegrass JG stuff. It has all the Old & In the Way shows, tons of JG+DG and JG+JK, and thousands of other shows from big artists. Some really cool recordings there, dating back to the forties.

furthernet is a great P2P program that is fast and safe. It has TONS of JGB, OAITW, JG solo, JG+JK, JG+DG, JG+MS, JG+HW, JG+F, legion of mary, reconstruction, and lots of videos. Thats probably your best bet if your looking for some Jerry.

TONS OF JG HERE:
http://tela.sugarmegs.org/boxofrain/

^ ^ go there, look around, be amazed at what there is! Hundreds of JGB to download, plus 5000 other rare tapes from other artists. Only bad thing is you can only download them in single WMA files.

Bit torrents:

http://www.thetradersden.org/

There is ton of JG on the webz, you just gotta look around ;)

While not exactly JGB, I have been listening to my first shows of Legion of Mary, a bit more jazzy with sax and a bassy vocalist who shares that role with Jerry. They were playing from 75-77 from what I can tell, very good sound. Found it at shnflac.net

hmmm... not only is this not about LMA, it also contains a reference to a member of a band that shall remain unnamed.

i thought this forum was moderated!

at any rate, i second the suggestion of finding some david grisman and jerry garcia shows. bluegrassbox is a good place to start.

good luck.
